iPhone 5s Specification, Feautures and Prices in Nigeria

The iPhone 5s is Apple's 7th generation iPhone. The 5s was introduced by Phil Schiller at the iPhone event on September 10, 2013 and released on September 20 alongside iOS 7. Physically the iPhone 5s looked identical to the previous year's iPhone 5, including the 4-inch 1136x640 in-cell display. But that's been true for every s-branded phone Apple has released to date. With this phone, however, there's one notable exception. The iPhone 5s not only comes in dark and light colors, space gray and silver respectively, but it comes in gold. Also, like every s-branded phone Apple has released to date, beneath a similar-looking shell beats the heart of a much-improved beast.

iPhone 5s: Apple A7 and M7 chipsets

The iPhone 5s is powered by the 64-bit Apple A7 system-on-a-chip (SoC). It's the first 64-bit SoC on the market and that Apple got there before companies that fabricate their own chips is a testament to Apple's drive. The A7 includes a 1.3GHz dual-core custom Cyclone processor based on the ARM v8 instruction set, and a OpenGL ES 3.0-equipped PowerVR G6430 graphics processor. That means the iPhone 5s is not only one of the most advanced mobile devices on the planet but that it can run more complex apps and games faster and better than ever before. The Apple A7 architecture also includes Apple's first coprocessor, the Apple M7. The M7 collects all motion-related data — accelerometer, gyroscope, magnometer, etc. — in the background in a really power-efficent way and then shares it with iOS and apps so not only can your phone make sure your pedometer apps don't have any gaps, but can recognize when you're not moving and power down network connections to save even more power, or recognize when you get out of a car and switch you to walking directions.

iPhone 5s: Touch ID fingerprint identity sensor

Touch ID, Apple's fingerprint identity sensor, debuted with the iPhone 5s. It lets you use biometric authentication to unlock your iPhone and authorize purchases on the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBookstore. It works with a capacitive sensor that detects your finger, snaps a high-resolution image of it, converts it to a mathematical hash, sends it directly to a secure enclave on the Apple A7 chipset and, if it matches, releases a yes/no token that either verifies or rejects your print. Each Touch ID sensor is paired with a specific Apple A7 processor, and the fingerprints are never allowed out of the Touch ID system and never transmitted or stored on any servers. If your phone is rebooted or if you haven't used Touch ID for 48 hours, you'll have to use your passcode to reactivate it.

iPhone 5s: iSight and FaceTime cameras

The rear-facing iSight has also been improved for the iPhone 5s. It's still 8 megapixels but it's got a wider f/2.2 aperture and bigger 1.5 micron sensor. Thanks to the new image signal processor (ISP) in the Apple A7, the iPhone 5s iSight camera also gets better balance, better exposure, better sharpness, better low-light, less color distortion, less motion blur. Not only that, it can take bursts and intelligently find and present you with the best shots in the series. It can also handle exposure dynamically for panoramas, and it even includes a TrueTone flash with both blue and yellow elements for better color reproduction in extreme low-light situations. To top it all off, the iPhone 5s can record 720p video at 120fps for silky-smooth slow motion with full control over in and out points.
The front-facing FaceTime camera on the iPhone 5s was also improved. The sensor size went to 1.9 microns and Apple changed to a back illuminated sensor (BSI). Always wanted better low-light selfies? Knock yourself out!

iPhone 5s: LTE and Wi-Fi

The 4G LTE radio now handles more bands in more places than ever before, and while Apple didn't add 802.11ac networking to the iPhone 5s, they did add multiple-in/multiple-out (MIMO) to make the existing 802.11n networking rock-solid. Bluetooth remains top-of-the-line 4.0 Low Energy.

Techno F2 Review:Low Budget Phone with a Difference

Tecno F2, a wonderful upgrade of the Tecno F1. Like its lesser variant, there are still considerable similarities between the two smartphones like having the same processor, storage space, camera set up and so on.for a phone of its price

Tecno F2 Key Specs and Features

  • 5.0-inch, IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 854 X 480 pixels
  • Android 8.0 Oreo (Go Edition)
  • Octa-core MediaTek MT6580A CPU with 1GB RAM
  • 8GB built-in storage, up to 32GB with a memory card
  • 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera
  • 3G connectivity
  • 2, 000mAh Li-ion battery

Design and Display

Both the Tecno F2 and F1 are obvious look-alikes and can be very hard to differentiate. Like its F1, it is made of plastic and has nice round edges with a nice polished finish. Also, you have the same touch buttons, sensors speaker and camera arrangement as the Tecno F1. At the back the camera and flash module protrudes a but at the left top corner while Tecno is pasted at the center bottom region.
Display is same as the other smartphone with just a 5.0-inch screen with inferior resolution. Talking about resolution, low resolution is part of the compromises seen in budget smartphones to make it as affordable as it is. That being said, Tecno F2 has an 854 X 480 pixels display.

Battery and Camera

It is convenient to say both the Tecno F1 and F2 have the same battery capacity. This means the smartphone is powered by 2, 000mAh Li-ion battery which is kind of small. The good thing is, it is replaceable, so you can always have a spare in case you run out of juice.
As for the camera they’re also the same with the Tecno F1 which has a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP camera at the front. This is enough to capture images for reference sake but definitely not  suited for social media type of pictures.

Hardware and Software

A slight upgrade is made to the Tecno F2, although, the SoC is more or less the same as in the Tecno F1. There’s a Quad-Core MediaTek MT6580A chipset with a clock frequency of 1.3GHz accompanied by a Mali-400 GPU for munching graphics.
This is where things get better, the Tecno F2 has an improved 1GB RAM compared to the 512MB in the F1. It also has 8GB internal storage which can also be expanded up to 32GB with a memory card. As for the OS, you’ve go the Go Edition of the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.

The smartphone is available in various online stores and smartphone retail outlets for about #29, 000 but you can buy at a better price on Jumia here

Bluboo S3 Specification, Feautures and Prices:8500mAH Powered Battery with Amazing 21MP Camera

Bluboo is one of those China-based manufacturers that produce smartphones with looks and hardware specs well beyond what their price-tag suggests. The latest offer here is the Bluboo S3, which is currently on sale for #57,000. And, for that amount of money, it looks like it could be a real bargain. Let's explore it further!

 Display

The Bluboo S3 rocks an 18:9 display on its front, with next-to-non-existant side bezels and very thin forehead and chin. According to the manufacturer, the phone's screen-to-body ratio is about 91%. The back is refreshingly not a slippery glass, nor a flat metal surface. Instead, it has a pyramid texture, which should improve grip, especially paired with its curvy sides, designed to sit better in the palm.

The S3 is a mid-range device, but it does have a few special features that truly shine. So, starting with the processor — it's an octa-core MediaTek 6750, clocked at 1.5 GHz. Sure, nothing to write home about, but not too shabby either. We've got 4 GB of RAM, which is plenty enough even by contemporary flagship standards, and 64 GB of storage, which — again — is more than enough for most users. In case it's not, the phone also accepts microSD cards of up to 256 GB.

Buy Bluboo S3 at the best price on Jumia here

Camera

Moving on to the camera, you probably have noticed the dual lens module on the back. This one holds a 21 MP Samsung sensor for the main snapper and a 5 MP sensor for the assistive, depth-sensing camera. These will, of course, be used in conjunction to create Portrait Mode-like shots with simulated bokeh. On the front, we have another Samsung-made sensor — this one takes 13 MP selfies.

Battery
Now, here's the "wow" feature of the package. The Bluboo S3 rocks an 8,500 mAh battery in its trunk! The manufacturer claims that would provide 6 days of battery life, though, that'll definitely vary greatly depending on how you use it. Did you happen to say to yourself "That's as big as my portable power bank!"? Because the Bluboo S3 can, in fact, be used as a power bank to charge your other devices when you connect the included USB OTG cable to its USB Type-C port.

Speaking of the Type-C port at the bottom, you'll have to use that for headphones as well, as the phone lacks a 3.5 mm jack. It also doesn't seem to have water-resistance to offset this small inconvenience.

The Bluboo S3 will be updated to Android 8.1 post-launch (it's unclear which version it'll ship with) and will also have face unlock added as a feature with a future update. For the time being, you can still use the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security locks.
